vinyasa yoga

vinyasa refers to a flowing yoga practice synchronizing breath and movement. jen's heart-centered style of vinyasa is at the heart of all her offerings. emphasizing creative sequencing and breath awareness, jen's classes are woven together with threads of insight to create a mindful, meditative journey. cultivating a balance between effort and ease, her classes can be both challenging and vigorous yet always remain restful and deeply nourishing.

 

jen encourages each student to work at their own level of strength and flexibility and to meet whatever arises in the moment with loving kindness. she offers compassionate support and gentle guidance in finding grace and ease at your edge. while everyone is welcome and ample space is provided for modifications, some familiarity with yoga and/or some other form of physical practice is strongly recommended.


yoga & meditation

this offering is an opportunity to drop down and explore the body, heart and mind a little more deeply in order to release the subtle layers of tension we're holding. moving from slow, flowing asana into stillness, with a simple mindfulness meditation to close the practice, we will emerge prepared to move forward with greater ease and awareness and to inhabit our lives and the present moment more fully. although this is a deep practice, which asks us to dive bravely below the surface, we will meet whatever arises with compassion and, therefore, it is suitable for all.

this offering is a powerful flowing yoga practice designed to wake up the body and relax the mind. this class is a mindful meditative journey that emphasizes the cultivation of a steady balance between effort and ease and is an invigorating, deeply nourishing way to start the day.
