here are some photos of my travels through mother india...like all mothers, she is fierce yet kind...my life will never be the same!!! there are also a few photos here from nepal (that's a completely different story!). for those of you who have taken the journey to india, you know that the heart and mind get blown wide open there. and, for those of you who have merely dreamed of going, i couldn't recommend this adventure strongly enough. india is a 'must' on your lifetime list of musts.

although you may not actually find many places in india to practice asana, yoga is of course everywhere. puja and prayer are all around you. and, if you've never sat on a crowded train for 24 hours, it's an 'asana' that's not to be underestimated! undoubtedly, a trip to india will deepen your connection to yoga in ways that you could never experience in a classroom. a trip to india is a journey into the self, into the past, into the future...it's a trip HOME...enjoy!!!
